One thing I love about my clients, is their own attention to detail. Cass and Carlos had a vision, and they saw it through to the end. From the champagne tower, to the greenery wrapped pillars.. This sweet couple even rented a vintage car to use for their portraits, and I’m OBSESSED with how it all turned out. Not only did I get to work with this couple as their wedding photographer, but I also got to serve them in the design + planning of their gorgeous floral design. I work as the Weddings + Events Wedding Communications Lead at Lovella Lifestyle, an Edmonton based fine-art Floral Studio, and I’m always SO GIDDY when I get to work with Joyella couples!! Floral design is a huge part of your overall wedding aesthetic, look, and feel- while photography is all about the artistic capture of the moments, memories and a way to preserve the investment you’ve made in your big day. What I’m getting at is that photography + florals go hand in hand, in my opinion. So, getting to be part of the floral planning process AND documenting Cass + Carlos’ special day was such a treat. There was so much attention to detail that went into this special day, but this couple made everything look and feel so natural and effortless. Their white rose design graced its way through every photo moment, this was truly a photographers dream. Sparrow Lane never disappoints as a venue, and I love watching couples style it differently to suit their unique taste.
