My journey with photography stems from a lifelong interest in imagery. When I was young, I remember my grandma asking me what I wanted to be when I was older. When I told her I wanted to be a photographer she encouraged me to get my education to become something more mainstream, like a teacher... or a nurse. So, right after high school at the ripe age of 17 I began University. It was during University that my photography business became a reality. I was working as a cosmetician at Shoppers Drug Mart. My store had an electronics department, and they were having a mega-sale on all their Canon cameras. I was SO excited because my whole life I wanted to take beautiful images. Finally- a camera that I could change the lens on! I quickly bought some books and began teaching myself the basics of photography. I started doing photoshoots for friends and family and I quickly sold my Canon Rebel and upgraded to two Nikon D750's (full frame professional gear) with some prime lenses. Fast forward a bit- I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work and after working as a social worker for a year and a half, I had my son Parker. My maternity leave was coming to a close and I had to decide if I was going back to the office or not. I took a leap of faith and resigned from my office job to pursue my photography business full time. I'm now headed into my fourth year as a full time wedding and portrait photographer. I absolutely love my job as an Alberta photographer. I get to celebrate exciting, happy and beautiful moments for couples and families. It's because of each and every one of you that I get to live a life I LOVE! From the bottom of my heart, thank you. xo Jenny
I was born and raised in Lacombe, Alberta and after marrying my husband Thomas, we moved to Edmonton to finish University. We've lived in the city for six years now and are proud to call Edmonton home. Shortly after finishing our education we purchased a home, so I guess that means we're staying a while. We look forward to raising our two boys in this amazing city. Since then, I've traveled up and down our beautiful province documenting love stories for couples and families.
My love for photography has brought me everywhere from the rocky mountains in Banff and Jasper, to the living room of country music star, Brett Kissel! Being an Alberta photographer has awarded me the absolute honour of meeting the most amazing couples and families. I am SO grateful each every day to be doing a job I love.
jenny was amazing. she made me and my husband feel so comfortable- we were able to laugh and enjoy the process. her editing was beautiful. jenny is professional, talented and caring. i loved my experience with her.

There's nothing I love more than dancing with my son in the mountains! The way he's perfectly perched on my pregnant belly warms my heart. Could I dream of anything sweeter?!
I'm the mama of two beautiful boys. My oldest son Parker is three years old and my youngest son Hudson is 1 year old. This season of life is all consuming and overwhelming but so beautiful and so rewarding. The way I like to describe motherhood is finding "happy in the hard." Grateful to be a mama to such amazing little boys!
I lived in Hawaii for a year and it captured my heart and soul. The aloha spirit is REAL and I miss it every day. The pacific island breeze through my hair, the salty humid air, the colorful flowers and lush mountains. It's truly my paradise. If you've ever been to Hawaii... you know.
I have a slightly ridiculous ring sling selection. When Parker was born I discovered the world of baby wearing. I did not know the rabbit hole I was about to fall into. But 11 slings later... here we are. No shame in my game. My ring slings all match my brand too- they are all soft neutrals or pastels. Can't compromise style when wearing the babies, right?
Me and my hubby just bought our first home together and it's a total fixer-upper. It's been a life long dream of mine to renovate a home- and that's exactly what we're doing! My goal: a light and airy home- white walls with a pink front door, and neutral/pastels + colorful decor to bring the space to life. This is a photo of our living room, the first room we renovated in the house! Now we are saving up to renovate the kitchen.
I absolutely love pink. My husband is such a good sport and has allowed me to decorate however I please... so... pink it is! He even let me have my LIFE LONG dream of having a PINK DOOR! I am in love. With both my husband, and the pink door.
When I go out to eat I often order dessert first. Here's my reasoning: you know when you go to a restaurant, and you eat your entree- then you're too full for dessert? It's not like you can order dessert and pack it home and eat it the next day. The icecream will melt, the brownie will harden, the whipped cream will dissolve into nothing. HOWEVER: You order dessert first, enjoy it because you aren't too full, then you can pack up whatever you don't eat of your entree and eat it the next day. #Genuis.
IF I HAD TO DESCRIBE THIS BUSINESS IN THREE WORDS, THEY WOULD BE TIMELESS, ROMANTIC AND JOYFUL.

sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory
"If a photographer cares about the people before the lens and is compassionate, much is given. It is the photographer, not the camera, that is the instrument."
This business to me is so much more than just taking pictures. It's about connecting with people and finding fulfilling relationships with those around me. It's celebrating happy moments in life and preserving memories for generations to come. It's about family history. It's that one day when you want to go back in time... you can. Memories are always special. Document them. You'll always be glad you did.
