Dive into Kelsey and Craig’s Pine and Pond wedding that was filled with such sweet moments like their family first dance and a stunning ceremony where the sun magically lit up the trees surrounding the lawn.
The Couple
I just have to start out by saying that Kelsey and Craig CRACK ME UP. Literally almost every single time they open their mouths they have me laughing. Okay now that we have that established…
These two were introduced by Kelsey’s next door neighbour and have been together for over 5 years! They have three beautiful children who they couldn’t live without: Taelynn, Kaydence, and Lochlin. They love taking their kids camping and enjoy golfing together. They have a great love for the outdoors and it is no surprise to me that Craig proposed to Kelsey with the beauty of nature as the backdrop at Crescent Falls.
They dropped off their kids in Rocky Mountain House and Craig was trying to make it for sunset- after driving about 150 km/hr on the highway, taking a few wrong turns, and incurring more stress than was planned, they made it. They may have missed sunset by three minutes, but Craig proposed and Kelsey said YES!
These two say they fight hard, but love even harder. They couldn’t imagine life without each other. Craig always puts Kelsey first and Kelsey describes Craig as an amazing father and husband.
The Wedding Day
These two were referred to me by my brother (thanks Andy!). Andy and Craig are friends- so when Andy heard Craig was looking for a wedding photographer he sent them my way. What a sweet brother I have!
Kelsey and Craig always wanted to do a destination wedding. They wanted to get married on a sunny beach by the ocean but due to COVID-19 that was no longer a possibility. They started looking at options closer to home and decided on Pine and Pond located in Alberta.
Pine and Pond is such a stunning wedding venue- I get so excited every time I have the opportunity to work here! Kelsey said her favorite part of the day was the ceremony. All the stress leading up to the wedding went away as she walked down the aisle and saw Craig. They also cherish their first dance with their kids- such a special moment and memory.
